Daffodil planting 

On the 29th December , 300 daffodil bulbs were planted near the Mens Shed by Finbarr Heas , Neil Purkiss with the help of his son Laurie and his friend Rhea on a visit from Lisbon .The Bulbs were kindly gifted to us by The Tidy Town committee

Polytunnel 

The polytunnel was finally wrapped in polythene on 29th February 2024, when an impressive team of stalwart volunteers assembled to help wrap the 56ft frame in its new transparent skin, signalling the birth of the Carrigaline Men's Shed growing season! The tunnel features 26 raised beds, in which the Garden Shedders hope to grow a wide range of fruit & vegetables, such as tomatoes, chilli peppers, onions, leeks, fennel, pak choi, aubergine, courgettes, cucumbers, melons & strawberries.
